DISCIPLE Bible Study

"If you make my word your home, you will indeed be my disciples.”
~John 8:31~

Are you hungry for God’s Word? DISCIPLE Bible Study can help transform your spiritual life into a life that is rooted in God’s Word, prayer, and discipleship.

About the DISCIPLE Series:

The DISCIPLE Bible Study program is designed to develop strong Christian leaders through in-depth study of Scripture. It is a great way to strengthen one's faith, guided into service and ministry, becoming stronger disciples.

DISCIPLE I is an overview of the Old and New Testaments, covering Genesis through Revelation prompting you along the way to consider the human condition and become a disciples. ~ 34 weeks. It is offered at FPCOKC every other year, and is a part of our Core Foundation Series, an expectation of all leaders at FPCOKC.

DISCIPLE I was offered in 2015/2016.  Another offering in Fall 2017.

INTO THE WORD INTO THE WORLD is an in-depth bible study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts.  DISCIPLE II is prepared for those who have completed DISCIPLE I already, but it is not required.

The 32-week in-depth study proclaims the transforming power of Scripture while teaching Bible study skills that take participants deeper into the Scripture and the practice of spiritual disciplines and witness. The purpose is to change habits and transform lives. The study also emphasizes the rhythm of coming to God and going for God, of being in the Word and in the world individually and corporately, discipline in community and in ministry to the world.
